If you are looking for someone within iCIS you can have a look at the so-called staff pages.

Within the Science faculty
If you are trying to find someone within the Science faculty you can use the program telgids on lilo1 or lilo2. First open up an ssh session to lilo1.science.ru.nl or lilo2.science.ru.nl and then issue the command telgids <search string>. Or you can do this in a single command ssh lilo1.science.ru.nl -e "telgids <search string>"'.
Or nowadays you can also use telgids online: FNWI Telefoongids

If you are searching for someone outside the Science faculty use:
For privacy reasons the RU website doesn't give the room number.
However, when you log in to radboudnet website you can still get the room number:

Search for the ru-email address off a colleague
If you search a person within radboudnet you may find the science/cs email address of a person, but not his ru-email address. However below are some instructions how we still can find the person's ru-email address:
via web browser using Outlook Web App (all operating systems)
- open the online outlook addressbook page: https://outlook.office365.com/people/ type into the searchbox at the top of the page
- at the top of the top of the page is search box to search a person
- select and copy and paste the email address from the found entry
using the outlook desktop application (Windows/MacOs)
- open the addressbook
- search for the person
- select and copy and paste the email address from the found entry
MacOS with outlook as internet account configured
- If you have outlook as internet account configured on your mac then
- you can open the "Contacts" app
- search within the "Directories" section in the "Exchange Global address list"
- note: searching within "all contacts" does not search in the "Exchange Global address list"
- select and copy and paste the email address from the found entry
using thunderbird configured with outlook calendar (Linux/MacOS/Windows)
- within thunderbird open the address book
- search within "all address books" ( or the ru address book specifically)
- select the found email: with left mouse button keeping pressed click on first letter of the email address and drag your mouse over the whole address.
- then copy and paste the email address
